Senior .Net Application Developer

We are looking for:
* Senior .Net Application Developer

Reporting To: Technical Team Leader

Duties & Responsibilities:
Advanced Experience in:
•Develop, implement and deliver high quality solutions / applications within an allocated time frame
•Review on complex databases of Company developed Solutions.
•Refine database schemas & insure that it is abide with DB naming conventions.
•Refine issues in the class diagrams
•Lead developer team to enhance database design techniques and implementations
•Implement and pioneer the advanced use of database features in current and future projects
•Work to build applications and enhancements that meet functional specifications, application development standards, and support requirements.
•Review on unit test of his solution developer team & insure that their unit test is sufficient.
•Make Integration test between different developed module & document scenarios into testing cases document.
•Help system developers / suggest solutions to resolve issues / bugs that reported from QC engineer & insure that it will never happened again.
•Uses knowledge of web / application technologies, including C#, VB .NET, Java Script, HTML, XML, ASP .NET, database modeling tools and/or database interactions.
•Knowledge of IP Telephony solutions / protocols.
•Knowledge of Cisco IPCC system structure.
•Writing Technical documents that will describe Physical design of different modules & integration methods between them + DB schema that will be used.

Able to act as advisor for Junior System developers for helping them to solve their issues / problems.

Education:
-Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent discipline
-Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD) into .NET Development.
-Microsoft Certified System Developer (MCSD) into .NET Development is a plus.

Skills:
•Good awareness of the following Technologies:
ASP, XML, ASP.NET, VB .NET or C# or Visual Studio .NET, ADO, ADO.NET
•Solid knowledge of SQL, stored procedures is a must.
•Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
•Cisco IPCC server know-how is urgent.
•IP Telephony solution / protocols know-how is a plus.
•Working knowledge of Microsoft IIS, Visual Source Safe (VSS) is a plus
•Must be willing to work with others in an integrated team environment
•Has experience into develop solutions that support multi language especially Arabic.
•Communication Skills is must.
Experience: not less than 6 years of professional .NET development experience

Volunteers needed-new project in Cairo

*Volunteers Needed *

We are a group of thinkers and activists who are willing to create a new civilization organization and planting the seeds for a new way of living in one of the poorest communities in Egypt.

The main objective is to ensure that a SUSTAINABLE PROJECT is created rather than only giving out hand-outs that have a short-term effect. In addition, another objective of the project is to ensure that rather than just feeding the people, they are involved in feeding themselves. This will instill a sense of ownership in the project and in the benefits that they receive.

*Research & segmentation committee:*
Develop research campaigns to identify key problems that Antar's community are facing according to their priorities in order to identify their needs:

- Create job opportunities for young professionals
- Teach new professions for young people who drop out of school so they don't turn into "Arzekaya" has small income and hence lead to a deterioration of their illness, and poor environmental situation.
- Assess water sources and the presence of sewage to find alternative humanitarian solutions
- Assess the diseases that afflict those families in this community to provide appropriate education for them

The research officer's job is to:
- Develop indicators and methodologies
- Create need assessments
- Design and develop research processes, frameworks, methods and tools with Antar community.
- Create database contains all the information of Antar inhabitants of (numbers/ names/age/income/jobs/level of education...etc)
- Prepare analytical reports

*The research officer needs help in the phase of processing the framework*.
We need volunteers to do need assessments in Antar community to get the above mentioned information to enable us to identify the sort of help this community needs and identify type of suitable projects that could recruit large number of SA community.

*Volunteers would get:*
Training on how to conduct the need assessment

Participation in the foundation's activities, conferences and workshops.

Senior Post Sales Networking Engineer

*Job DESCRIPTION
– Manage a team of existing staff to install and support networking projects.
– Grow, develop (technically & personally) and motivate the team.
– Develop & execute project plans according to the international standards of Project Management for all networking projects to make sure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
– Establish the technical deliverables during the design, implementation and transition phases of the project.
– Coordinate with all divisions involved in the project including other implementation teams and pre-sales for project related technical activities.
– Technical front ending with the customer roll out plans, execution and expansions or re-schedule the implementation plan and facilitate the project technical tasks to achieve the agreed plan.
– Planning and tracking project roll out using Project Management tools like MS Project.
– Monitor project against plan and take the corrective actions to keep the agreed project plan maintained.
– Responsible for Project tasks completion timely, Installation, Commissioning and testing the project network setup as per the acceptance test plan.
– Responsible for project documentation, solution database.
– Follow up and monitor on the network team to make sure that the services offered are of highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.
– Develop & execute Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with the customers according to their requirements, and also internally between his unit & the other units in the company.
– Provide second level technical support for the team.
– Prepare training & certification plans for the team according to the changing business needs.
– Analyze and identify areas of strength as well as improvement opportunities that should be focused on by the company.

Requirements for candidates:
– Engineering or Computer Science certificate
– Cisco CCIE
– Project management
– Microsoft Windows XP, Office, Visio, Project & Adobe Acrobat Reader/Writer
– Fully proficient at LAN/WAN installations and support (preferably Cisco in real world large projects, in the one of following specialization Security, IP-telephony and Wireless) with the highest level of certification
– Proven business management, leadership & team work skills.
– Have a wide experience in implementing, installing and troubleshooting data networks of different technologies.
– Have strong experience in project leadership & management of various types of IT projects (Practical real world experience not less than 4500 hours (PMI Standards) for managing projects in different phases)
– Knowledge of major customer service business processes.
– Working effectively in a team work environment and obtain business goals as planned.
– Mini 5 years of experience in designing & implementing of large networking projects.
– Strong communication skills and attention to details.
– Capable of facing all levels of client management
– Customer service oriented
– Adapt & handle all types of technical communication issues in projects.
– Ability to lead and motivate a team, to deliver beyond the clients expectations.
– Good Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio & Microsoft project

Job Description:

The Sales Trainer will be responsible for driving the professional development of the entire Global Sales organization from a sales readiness perspective.

The South Sinai Regional Development Programme (SSRDP) is financed by the European Union (EU) for the benefit of the South Sinai Governorate. SSRDP is a five-year programme which aims to:

SSRDP needs to contract energetic, committed and hardworking candidates for the following positions at the Programme Support Unit (PSU) which is based at El Tur City in South Sinai.

1. SENIOR PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST – Component 1

His/her responsibilities include but are not restricted to

Procurement and contracting of civil works, supplies and services including the preparation of the Terms of Reference, technical specifications and tender dossiers.
Development and implementation of a monitoring system for ensuring contractor’s compliance with the terms, conditions and implementation schedules of the contract(s) awarded to him.

B.Sc. or higher degree in engineering.

3. FINANCIAL SPECIALIST IN ACCOUNTING

His/her responsibilities include but are not restricted to:

All accounting related activities such as maintaining the books of accounts, ledgers and financial and accounting records, treasury, payroll, monthly and other periodic general ledger and accounts reconciliations, tax return preparation, if any, budgeting and other financial and accounting activities in accordance with the Financial Agreements with the donating agency. It should be noted that all records and books of account are to be prepared in English.

B.Sc. in accountancy
Proven experience of at least seven years in a similar position and presently employed with the Civil Service.
Proven skills in computerized accounting on the accrual based accounting system.
Computer literate with knowledge of, and working experience with MS Office and accounting software.

Acquaintance with the EU financial system would be an advantage.

Key functions of the specialist will be to design and manage the Programme website (www.eu-ssrdp.org), prepare e-newsletters, promote stakeholders participation, publish articles, and develop information products of value to stakeholders.

B.Sc. in a relevant field

Excellent oral and written skills in both English and Arabic

Limited-time job opportunities are available for 2-3 months abroad. The required tasks can be splitted into smaller time slots (e.g. a candidate can spend only two or three weeks and then hand over to his next). The offer includes full accomodation and air tickets.

Data Base Administrator

The activities to be performed by the Data Base Administrator shall include but may not be limited to the following:

Prepare support plans for oracle team to cover customer requirements (time and schedule management).
Support new projects at design phase, implementation.

Design and implement backup and recovery strategies and tuning methods.

Provide DBA team and support engineers with required training and knowledge.

Plan growth and changes (capacity planning).

Follow up new technology from Oracle Corporation (updates new patches).

Reporting to the top management.

Install, Configure services for Oracle Databases and Tools.

Manage data base for various projects.

Must have knowledge for different operating system environments (win/nt)

Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures using (RMAN, logical & physical backup).

Take care of the Database design and implementation.

Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges).

Perform database and application tuning and performance monitoring.

Perform general technical trouble shooting and give consultation to development teams

Provide customers with backup and recovery procedures.

Monitor Databases performance using oracle performance utilities (TKPROF, UTLBSTAT and UTLESTAT).

Tune Databases (Memory Availability and Accessibility, I/O Contention, Lock Issues).

Tune SQL statements, Indexes, Execution time and resource consuming.

Perform Tables and Users Auditing.


Qualifications and Experience

1. The engineer should be OCP.
2. Minimum experience 8 years.

3. B.sc in Computer Science as Minimum Certificate.


Network Engineer

The activities to be performed by the network engineer shall include but may not be limited to the following:


Develops standards for computer and network systems, to include standards for wiring, equipment, system security, and routing protocol.

Provides project management of technical staff in the implementation, installation, configuration, and technical support of computer and network architecture; coordinates projects with other company departments and external organizations and agencies.

Provides planning, leadership, direction and advanced technical expertise regarding computer and network services for both local and wide area networks, and the worldwide INTERNET; serves as high-level technical expert in regards to computer/network systems and associated issues.

Designs and develops training classes and workshops in addition the (OJT) for the computer staff.

Installs, configures and maintains computer and network operating system and application software, as appropriate; provides all support for computer/network systems as required.

Maintains a broad knowledge of current and emerging state-of-the-art computer/network systems technologies, architectures and products.

Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Allocating network resources.

Providing technical support to users with very different levels of IT knowledge and competence.

Ensuring the most cost effective and efficient use of servers.

Suggesting and providing IT solutions to business and management problems.

Trouble-shooting, whether it is a major system crash or a forgotten password.

Implementing and monitoring network security.

Working closely with other departments/organizations to analyze requirements or solve problems.

Managing the website and keeping internal networks running.

Monitoring the use of the web by the employees.

Supporting the whole network infrastructure, including (but not limited to) Windows 2000 servers running exchange, active directory, DNS, DHCP and Veritas backup.

Knowledge, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of expertise.

Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.

Knowledge of computer/network systems infrastructure requirements and standards.

Knowledge of computer security systems, applications, procedures and techniques.

Knowledge of contract documents and specifications.

Advanced knowledge and understanding of a range of computer and networking software and hardware systems and related technologies.

Computer/network systems planning skills.

Strong interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.

Ability to install, configure, and maintain personal computers, networks and/or related hardware and software.

Ability to analyze and assess computer/network architecture requirement and determine optimum, cost-effective solutions.

Ability to plan, develop and coordinate multiple projects.

Ability to develop and present educational programs and/or workshops.

Qualifications and Experience:

The engineer should be certified in Microsoft products (MCSE) and 3 Com products.

Minimum experience is 8 years.

B.sc in Computer Science as minimum certificate.
