Proposals Manager

We are looking for:
* Proposals Manager

Job Description:
The Bid & Proposal Manager will work closely with all departments to create winning bids and proposals for this Boulder-based aviation software company.

Job Responsibilities:
• Manage the process of developing and submitting customer bids and proposals in a quickly changing work environment. This includes basic understanding of contract negotiations and legal terms.
• Manage the process of receiving customer purchase orders. This includes researching associated customer files and reviewing purchase orders for accuracy.
• Evaluate existing processes for creation and submission of bids and proposals, and well as receiving purchase orders. Implement improvements to these processes with management approval.
• Work as a liaison between sales and operations management to successfully produce and submit customer proposals in an efficient and timely manner.
• Review incoming customer contracts for accuracy and manage the process of contract revisions. This includes basic understanding of legal terminology and Sim Author requirements.
• Maintain business development files, including hard copies of bids, proposals, contracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
• Responsible for managing organization of business development files on the company server. Files should be organized for ease of use, accuracy of documentation, as well as ongoing maintenance to ensure that files contain the most current versions of documents.

Job Qualifications:
• must have superior knowledge of the English language with outstanding writing and editing skills.
• Ability to integrate images, diagrams, and other assets into technical documents
• BS Degree required, or will substitute 8 to 10 years experience in related field.
• Must have 3 to 5 years experience in aviation training, aircraft data analysis or related technical field.
• Flight Simulation and/or Military (DOD) B&P experience is a major plus.

Computer Skills:
• Expert knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project required.
• Database software applications (MS Access or better) as needed
