- Duties & Responsibilities
- To undertake and lead the implementation of Greatplains modules (Full Business Cycle) as assigned by the Team Leader.
- Provides presales support to the sales team on newly offered applications.
- Provides input to the Project Manager on the timeliness and deliverables of the project for the preparation of the project implementation plan.
- Understands the overall offered solution, and specifically studies and understands the assigned module for implementation.
- Assists in the discussions with the key user(s) on the details of the required deliverables in accordance to the recommended solution
- Assists in gathering all the required information and data from the client in regards to the business cycle(s)
- Attends technical presentations conducted by the Team Leader to the key user(s) and end user(s) in regards to the expected deliverable(s) of the provided solution.
- Understands clearly the identified, Work Around, and continues implementation of the module in accordance to any changes.
- Writes-up, Test Scripts, relevant to the assigned module and reviews it with the team leader to ensure its accuracy.
- Acts as first line support to the customer.
- Updates and involves the Project Manager and Team Leader on the progress of implementation of the assigned module and/or escalates issues faced during implementation to ensure prompt action.
- Prepares the, Application Setup Document, for his/her module for future references, ensuring that the rest of the team has undertaken the same activity.
- Conducts training to the end user on means of operating the implemented system.
- Providing structured user guidelines with clarity and user friendliness.
- Assists in obtaining the approved/signed, Final Acceptance Sheet, from the client on his/her own module(s) within the project.
- Education & Qualifications
- Bachelors of Commerce or Computer Science with minimum 3-5 years hands-on experience in Great Plains Applications.
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Applications functionalities in the assigned modules.
- Good business knowledge in the specialized suite. (Financial Accounting, Logistics & procurement, CRM or Manufacturing etc).
- Implementation experience using Great Plains Implementation Methodology.
- Knowledge seeker and continuous knowledge update.
- Team leading capabilities and a very good team player.
- Presentation skills (Demos, presentations and Training).
- Technical writing skills.
- Very Good Command of English.

SOUTH SINAI REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

The South Sinai Regional Development Programme (SSRDP) is financed by the European Union (EU) for the benefit of the South Sinai Governorate. SSRDP is a five-year programme which aims to:

Ø promote the sustainable local economy
Ø support social development
Ø protect the natural resources
Ø preserve the cultural heritage

SSRDP needs to contract energetic, committed and hardworking candidates for the following positions at the Programme Support Unit (PSU) which is based at El Tur City in South Sinai.

1. SENIOR PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST – Component 1

His/her responsibilities include but are not restricted to

Procurement and contracting of civil works, supplies and services including the preparation of the Terms of Reference, technical specifications and tender dossiers.
Development and implementation of a monitoring system for ensuring contractor’s compliance with the terms, conditions and implementation schedules of the contract(s) awarded to him.
Establishing and maintaining a database of contractors and suppliers
Any other assignment which he may be given by his/her superiors.

Requirements

B.Sc. or higher degree in engineering.
Proven experience of 10 years or more in a similar position in the field of procurement and purchasing procedures in a major project.
Acquaintance with the procurement procedures and regulations of the EU or any other international donor agency would be a distinct advantage.
Highly motivated and results oriented
Willing to work over-time on occasions and to travel to various other parts of the South Sinai and Cairo when necessary

2. SENIOR PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST – Component 2

His/her responsibilities include but are not restricted to

Screening and analysis of Grant funding applications and preparation of related tender documentation procedures including the preparation of the Terms of Reference, technical specifications and tender dossiers.
Development and implementation of monitoring, evaluation and reporting systems for the grant related activities of the Programme.
Any other assignment which he/she may be given by his/her superiors.

Requirements

B.Sc. or higher degree preferably in economics, business studies or rural development.
Proven experience of 10 years or more of which at least five years in a similar position in a major project.
Acquaintance with the procurement procedures and regulations of the EU or any other international donor agency would be a distinct advantage.
Highly motivated and results oriented
Willing to work over-time on occasions and to travel to various other parts of the South Sinai and Cairo when necessary

3. FINANCIAL SPECIALIST IN ACCOUNTING

His/her responsibilities include but are not restricted to:

All accounting related activities such as maintaining the books of accounts, ledgers and financial and accounting records, treasury, payroll, monthly and other periodic general ledger and accounts reconciliations, tax return preparation, if any, budgeting and other financial and accounting activities in accordance with the Financial Agreements with the donating agency. It should be noted that all records and books of account are to be prepared in English.

Requirements

B.Sc. in accountancy
Proven experience of at least seven years in a similar position and presently employed with the Civil Service.
Proven skills in computerized accounting on the accrual based accounting system.
Computer literate with knowledge of, and working experience with MS Office and accounting software.
Able to work under high pressure to meet reporting deadlines.
Acquaintance with the EU financial system would be an advantage.
Highly motivated and results oriented
Willing to work over-time on occasions and to travel to various other parts of the South Sinai and Cairo when necessary

4. Communication and Public awareness Specialist

His/her responsibilities include but are not restricted to:

Preparation and implementation of a Programme Visibility and Communication Plan targeting all project stakeholders including (but not limited to) the Bedouin communities, Government, the private sector and general public. Key functions of the specialist will be to design and manage the Programme website (www.eu-ssrdp.org), prepare e-newsletters, promote stakeholders participation, publish articles, and develop information products of value to stakeholders.

Requirements

B.Sc. in a relevant field
Proven experience of at least seven years in a similar position.
Excellent oral and written skills in both English and Arabic
Proficient in database and graphic software (e.g. Corel Draw, Photoshop, Freehand as well as internet languages (e.g. HTML, MS Front Page, Dream Weaver)
High level of initiative and creativity
Able to work under high pressure to meet reporting deadlines.
Acquaintance with the EU Visibility Policy would be an advantage.
Highly motivated and results oriented

5. ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE MANAGER

His/her responsibilities include but are not restricted to:

Supervision of drivers, guardians and building maintenance staff.

Recording of trips and fuel consumption
Licensing of vehicles
Obtaining permits and other official documents for the project and the foreign visitors and experts
Public relations.
Liaison with civil authorities, officials and other third parties.
Any other assignment which he/she may be given by his/her superiors.

Requirements

University degree in management or other relevant field.
Proven experience of at least ten years in a similar position.
Highly motivated and results oriented
Willing to work over-time on occasions and to travel to various other parts of the South Sinai and Cairo when necessary

6. EXECUTIVE SECRETARY

His/her responsibilities include but are not restricted to:

Undertake all normal secretarial duties including: answering the telephone; taking messages; sending and receiving faxes and emails; receipt, dispatch and registration of mail; typing and filing documents; photocopying, etc.
Arrange appointments, hotel reservations and travel bookings as well as venue bookings for PSU meetings, workshops and training activities etc.
Maintain records of PSU staff activities (timesheets, leave records etc.)
Maintain PSU staff attendance record book
Take minutes of meetings when required
Meet and greet visitors to the Programme Support Unit (PSU)
Computer literate including Windows XP, MS Office and other software
Arrange subscriptions to selected newspapers, magazines and journals
Assisting all staff with archiving and library set-up and library maintenance
Any other related duties which maybe requested from time to time

Requirements

Degree in management or other relevant field.
Proven experience of at least ten years in a similar position.
Highly motivated and results oriented
Willing to work over-time on occasions and to travel to various other parts of the South Sinai and Cairo when necessary

7. Assistant Secretary / Translator

His/her responsibilities include but are not restricted to:

Act as an interpreter for international experts
General translation of correspondence, articles, reports and other documents
Ensure that the PSU premises are kept neat and tidy at all times
In consultation and under the supervision of the Executive Secretary undertake all normal secretarial duties including: answering the telephone; taking messages; sending and receiving faxes and emails; receipt, dispatch and registration of mail; typing and filing documents; photocopying, etc.
Any other related duties which may be requested from time to time

Requirements

University degree and/or appropriate secretarial training
Proven experience of at least 5 years in a similar position
Computer literate including Windows XP, MS Office and other software
Excellent communication skills
Able to prepare concise reports and minutes
Willing to work over-time on occasions and to travel to various other parts of the South Sinai and Cairo when necessary

System Engineer (Network)

--Purpose and Scope
Takes full responsibility of diagnosing and resolving network
problems, ensuring that account is taken of agreed levels of service
and the needs for quality, security, availability and safety,
utilizing appropriate specialized techniques, tools, methods or
standards. This includes carrying out full responsibility of
planning and design, providing advice and guidance to IS/IT
management in the planning phases of information systems, to ensure
that communications requirements (particularly network response
times, volumetric information and security requirements ) are
reflected in the overall specification. Takes full responsibility in
reviewing network statistics, identifying trends in traffic flow and
levels of service and process capacity changes as required.


--Accountabilities

-Develop and ensures that business continuity planning policy
requirements for Network are embedded in all relevant IS and other
organizational policy, standards and procedures.
-Ensures the provision of the information necessary to manage
capacity. Manages the production of quality documented capacity
plans as well as formulates the basis of submissions for procurement
of network component.
-Manages changes to the live infrastructure and contributes to the
evaluation or establishment of the change management system,
ensuring Network conformance to documentation standards by analyzing
change records and its Network impact to determine trends and
problems.
-Evaluates existing configuration Management (CM) systems, and
designs, and implements new/improved systems. Produces production
of requisite CM plans, standards and procedures. Evaluates and
recommends proprietary CM tools.
-Manages, installation, upgrading and maintains effective use of LAN
and WAN for communication of data. Develops standards on network
quality, quantity and integrity.
-Ensures that network traffic, performance and quality of service
provided are monitored and reviewed. Controls usage of established
methods, hardware and software tools and procedures for planning,
installing, configuring, commissioning, monitoring and investigating
the network.
-Takes full technical responsibility for complex communication
strategy, standards and all stages of development/implementation of
HW/SW life cycle.
-Take responsibility for delivering complex IS Network projects
ensuring implementation of change controls, quality of delivery, and
risk plans to overcome any arising significant problems, as well as
liaising / advising with IS Management on projects Budgets.
-Analyses Network incidents and problems, establish trends and
formulates plans an strategies to investigate and resolve incidents
and problems. Ensures minimum occurrence and improve process of
management policy..
-Takes full technical responsibility for the Network testing
function of a project, carries out investigations to find suitable
Network testing tools and methods and define Network test strategies.
-Analyses and documents the results of all Audits interviews
conducted, and recommend corrective actions as appropriate, ensuring
compliance with IS Audits Standards.
-Provides specialist advice, and guidance on the development,
documentation, application of IS Standards, procedures and the
interpretation of relevant national or international standards,
checking for compliance against quality systems, and external
standards where appropriate.
-Negotiate IS Network related service delivery with user and ensure
effectiveness costs of the operational systems, taking necessary;
action to ensure that quality of Network service, performance,,
availability and costs targets are met and prepare investment
proposal to meet changes in demand
-Takes full responsibility for the provisions of service level
achieved in comparison with the targets set in SLA's ensuring
significant failures are brought to attention of IS Management.
-Reviews the technical aspects related to department's tendering,
contracting and procurement activities related to Networking.
-Participates in the training and development of assigned UAE
national employees. Includes monitoring and reporting on progress
and counseling employees, as required.
-Knows the Company health, safety and environment policy,
procedures, regulations and objectives as related to area of
responsibility.


-- Minimum Requirements.

-12 years' experience in the design development and deployment of IT
network solution. Preferably within the oil and gas industry.
-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems,
Engineering, or other related discipline or equivalent experience in
a technical or business discipline.
-Very good knowledge of English.

-Carries out full range tasks associated with operating and
controlling installed Network hardware and software, using multiple
hardware & software platforms. Conducts investigations of
operational problems and proposes improvements.
-Controls and documents Network analysis, implementation, review,
and test or proposed changes to all configuration items and
structures.
-Installs or removes hardware and software, conducts tests, resolve
Network problems and reports details of hardware and software
items. Plays a leading role in defining Network standards and
configuration based on sound technology and business needs.
-Responds and resolve escalated users problems ensuring adherence to
escalation procedures and recommends solutions for implementation.
-Review network traffic, performance and quality or service and
diagnosing and resolving network problems by utilizing the
standards, toils, methods and techniques.
-Carries out tasks on areas of substantial value in installing,
upgrading, operation, control, maintenance and effective use of
local and wide area networks for the communication of data, vice,
test or images within one or more information systems.
-Review with own team Network Traffic, Performance and Utilization
against Cost Advice on action from Planning Prospective using
available information on existing databases.
-Takes full responsibility of defining, documenting and executing of
small projects, taking account of estimated cost, time scale and
Network project requirements, as well as managing change controls
and providing regular reports.
-Determine and initiates preventive measures in Network services.
Analyses and address influents and problems as well as deciding and
take action.
-Investigates and formulates opinions regarding exposed violations
and potential breaches in security and system access enquiries and
implements and adapts known techniques and available tools to
control all types of violations by applying security control
standards.
-Takes responsibility for the systems testing function of a project,
identifies, diagnoses and report system errors as well as report on
system quality and metrics in accordance with agreed standards.
-Plays the role of middle interface between users and service
providers in terms of proposing discussing and evaluating potential
solutions on standards situations.
-Participates in the preparation of department's contributions to
Business Plan and Budget. Includes monitoring expenditure and
preparing justifications for deviations from budget.
-Reviews the network technical aspect related to department's
tendering, contracting and procurement activities.
-Maintains a good understanding of all IS Network service available
to users, taking responsibility of a significant part of operational
service delivery ensuring the all operational logging and reporting
procedures are carried out.
-Uses the available tools and systems to integrate and analyze the
basic information. And monitors irregular activities which are
subject to SLA.
-Participates in the training and development of assigned UAE
national employees. Includes monitoring and reporting on progress

- Prepares the "Application Setup Document" for his/her module for future references, ensuring that the rest of the team has undertaken the same activity.
- Conducts training to the end user on means of operating the implemented system.
- Providing structured user guidelines with clarity and user friendliness.
- Assists in obtaining the approved/signed "Final Acceptance Sheet" from the client on his/her own module(s) within the project.

Required Skills:
- Bachelors of Commerce or Computer Science with minimum 3-5 years hands-on experience in Great Plains Applications.
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Applications functionalities in the assigned modules.
- Good business knowledge in the specialized suite. (Financial Accounting, Logistics & procurement, CRM or Manufacturing .etc).
- Implementation experience using Great Plains Implementation Methodology.
- Knowledge seeker and continuous knowledge update.
- Team leading capabilities and a very good team player.

Addax Oil Drilling Services in pursuant to the service contract with the Nigerian Agip Oil Company(NAOC)/Total Joint venture: FIELD DEVELOPMENT PROJECT in Nigeria, has been mandated to recruit senior/junior services expatriate(Contract)engineers/consultants for the fulfillment of the requirements of the joint venture Project(s).

The programme is a turnkey project with the Nigeria LNG limited(NLNG) a mixed company established by NAOC, SHELL, NNPC and Totalfina Elf for the construction and expansion of a Gas Liquifiaction plant, known as the LNG plus.

The project concerns the 4th and 5th LNG production lines with an annual capacity of around 4 million tones each. The plant will also produce 1.1 million tones per year of LPG and 0.4 million tones per year of condensates and part of the development programme of the offshore Amenam/Kpono field.

The 50 million barrel field will be expected to produce at the rate of about 125,000 bbl/d in line with the International Zero-Gas flaring policy. Associated gas will either be re-injected or marketed through the near by plant.Also the supply/management of production platform, two tripods, one flare and three associated bridges. As well as provision for engineering procurement fabrication, transportation, installation hook-up and pre-commissioning.
Addax Oil Drilling Services as Consultant to NAOC/TOTAL seeks/requires expatriates in the project whose services will include:
